Hello everyone!

I'm sorry for the lack of posts lately. I have my midterms coming up so I've been studying like crazy! Fingers crossed that my first midterm will turn out fine though, it's way too dense!

Anyway... yes, I kind of blew the surprise for you guys. That's probably my biggest life update ever. As you may know if you follow me on Twitter, I'm receiving an Erasmus scholarship for the next academic year and that means that I'm moving to Sheffield in September! Yay! For now it's going to be half a year, but I plan to stay there for a while... (a loooooooong while) since my boyfriend is from England. For now, I'm guaranteed to stay there five months and we will see if I can extend it to an academic year! I'm super excited about this! Also quite scary as I have never lived somewhere else for a long period - the maximum period of time I've been away from home was for two weeks in London.

I'll be studying at the University of Sheffield and I feel super lucky. I don't know for how long I've dreamt about studying abroad and living in England specifically but to me this is a huge thing and the fact that I'm going to live this experience is beyond extraordinaire!

My motivation regarding my degree has improved so much - I used not to be very happy about my degree in English Studies, and I'm still not 100% happy, but definitely I don't hate it anymore and I'm so happy that I'm working things out and getting good grades again.

All this means that I've been saving money since the day I knew this was going to happen - Friday - and that I'm definitely going to be on a spending ban and buy things I think are extremely necessary... but that also means I'll find a way to get more creative with my posts!

How was your week?
