Hello everyone!

Thank you so much for your comments on my last post. I loved reading them, I'm so happy people agreed with me! Plenty of new readers came, too, so I loved seeing new comments from new people. Thanks again!

7 things I have learnt blogging

Hello everyone!

So today it's rainy (who said the rain in Spain falls mainly in the plain? What about this little island in the Mediterranean where I live?) and I should be studying a little bit since finals are coming up and stuff but I really wanted to write a post. I'm expecting the postman to come home anytime this week/the following week and get ready a nice haul for you. I can't say more though! ;-)

Crissy Chats #9 Life Through My Phone #1

Hello lovelies!

So I decided that - since Crissy Chats is a Sunday post to talk about personal things or let your know a bit more about me - I would show you what life looks like through my phone. I'll show you some of the pictures I have, which are plenty. Right now I have over 1,5k pictures - I have had this phone since March 19th. I may have a problem.

Bring colour to your nails!

Hello lovelies!

It's already Spring but it feels like Summer is creeping in, isn't it? At least here in Spain. I thought I would write a post on my favourite nail polish for Spring-Summer to bring colour to my nails.

Wednesday Wishlist

Wednesday Wishlist, anyone?

It's been a while since I last wrote a post on a wishlist but I have several items I really want to get my hands on. This wishlist includes beauty, fashion and other kind of products.

Make Up Revolution Eyeshadow Palette: Iconic 3 (RRP: 4,99€)
Read wonders on this one - greatest Naked 3 dupe out there, maybe even better than the original one. It's being sold at around 5 euros, if I'm not mistaken. Incredibly worth it. I really can't wait to get my hands on it.

Tanya Burr's Lipgloss Picnic in the Park (RRP: 9€)
I've wanted one of these since they came out but I'm too lazy to spend 9€ + postage at the moment, so since her products are all over Superdrug in the UK at the moment, I will definitely buy one as soon as I get in Sheffield in September.

Cupcake fresh mask by LUSH (RRP: 9,25€)
I'm in love with this brand and when I tried the sample for Cupcake I really loved it. I'm now using La Amorosa, but I have already decided that I will buy Cupcake next since I have some zits I really want to get rid of / prevent more on my face!

MAC Lipstick in Impassioned (RRP: 18€)
I'm a MAC virgin and I really want to get my hands on one of their lipsticks so bad. Even though I have wanted to buy Russian Red, I think right now I would like to buy Impassioned even more. Someday somehow!

Sarousel Pants from Stradivarius (RRP: 19,95€)
I love these pants for Spring/Summer when it gets hot and you don't really feel like wearing neither skinnies nor shorts. So comfy and so stylish. (x)

Black wedges from Pull and Bear (RRP: 35,99€)
I have a hard time wearing heels or any other kind of shoes that imply my flat feet get positioned in a certain way but these look SO comfy and so elegant that I think I need to get my hands on one of these asap!!!

Fujifilm Instax Mini 8 (RRP: 75-80€)
I already have a polaroid but the film is SO expensive that I thought about buying one of these. They are quite affordable and cute. I thought about getting one of these to take so many insta-pictures from my Erasmus experience and this summer, too! ^_^

Nikon Coolpix L330 (RRP: 159€)
I love Nikon and actually my eyes are set on a Nikon D3100 but I really can't afford it at the moment so I thought about an affordable digital camera that will take great pictures, too. I saw this one with my mother a few weeks ago at Media Markt and she liked it for me, too, so hopefully I either get it by the end of the Summer or my parents give it to me as a farewell present!

What are you lusting for these days?

To infinity and beyond

Hello lovelies!

Short post today but I wanted to share with you something I bought last week in a cheeky shopping spree - which was quite small but anyway, it was a shopping spree.

I'm a total sucker for rings and one of the rings I have always wanted to get since I saw that Tiffanny's was selling it was the infinity ring (I know, typical white girl ring and symbol). I thought about getting one which was covered in silver but not 100% silver but I didn't want it to get all greeny and weird.

I thought about buying a ring online but I wasn't sure about my size (my finger is super small and thin so I just go for it and try it out) and yes I've bought rings online but they're like SURPRISE SURPRISE, WILL IT FIT YOUR FINGER? I guess I'm about that life...

However, the other day I saw this ring and it was sterling silver. It was 9,95€ at Iam and I wasn't sure whether I should go for it or not, but the woman said: "If you've found your size, you're lucky. These rings are gone everyday!"

It's so thin and simple and I couldn't say no, so here it is on my finger. (I had an awkward moment when the woman tried to put it on me and just slid it halfway and said "oops, that's something your partner should do!")

I think I'm in love with a ring.

Do you wear rings?

Crissy Chats #8: Green Juice Fever + Recipe

Hello everyone!

I hope you all have had a good weekend - I definitely did! I've been relaxing, I won't lie, but I know I should be going hard at uni since I have my finals in less than a month eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek!!!!

I don't know if you're aware of the new trend in health and fitness. Famous models and people in general are drinking the green juices which are detox juices. They're vegetables, fruits and water - as simple as that. My mother and me have been drinking those for a week and a half now and they're very yummy.

Hello everyone!

As you have seen, my blog has a new look! I hope you like it! It's less colourful and a little bit more minimalist, I guess? But I reallyy like the way it looks now.

Now, I finally finished my exams... and guess what happened? I decided to treat myself. I walked into Lush just for fun and I ended up buying something... my very first items!

Crissy Chats #7: The "2 minutes a day" challenge

Hello lovelies!

Though I have two posts on drafts I really wanted to post, I have decided to bring the Crissy Chats post back to talk about the "2 minutes a day" challenge.

I wonder if you have ever read Hello Giggles - if not, please do! A bunch of great women run that website but they also write very interesting articles like the Thought Catalog website. A reader wrote an interesting article about how a bottle of lotion changed the way she sees her body. Let's say that even though I can say that I feel very confident with myself and my body most of the times, I'm a girl and I have my days. I read this article the day they published it and I decided to go ahead and do it.

To sum the article up, she says that she had been massaging the zones of her body with lotion for two minutes daily after shower. Yes, easy, right? Wait I almost forgot! She massaged the zones she less liked about herself.

After reading the article I noticed that it's true. When we don't like a part of our body, we kind of neglect it. I'm not my abdomen's biggest fan, nor my thigh's biggest fan. I concentrate on my face with plenty of face masks, or my arms... but not those parts.

So I actually prepared the set. I bought a new set of body milk and scrub to try it out. The smell is intoxicating, so wonderful, so fresh - it feels like you're in a relaxing place, like the typical perfect beach or beach lounge, or beach hotel... whatever you want! And after the shower I started with the challenge.

I did not feel terror or anxiety or "oh my god I want to stop" I just tried to be as loving with those parts of my body as I am with the rest of it...

... and it makes a difference.

I apply religiously some lotion, my rosehip oil, everything that makes my body smell good and feel soft. And I like it. I like it because I'm taking care of it. Why should we neglect parts of our body just because we don't like them? No, no. We should just care about them a bit more. Don't we hate when we get a zit on our face or when it feels oily? Don't we try to fix it and take care of it? I believe this is exactly the same.

You see, I'm trying to live a healthy life - I try to eat well, do exercise and drop the pounds I know my body doesn't need and have my oh-so dream body but to be honest, why can't a woman make her body her dream body? (I said woman but I know men suffer from this, too!) I know there aren't miraculous ways to get what you want fast, you just need to insist, and be patient.

This challenge may seem dumb, but it's actually quite encouraging. You learn to care more about yourself, and I think that's the real deal here.

I encourage everyone who has felt a bit down or self conscious about their bodies to pursue a healthy life and to enjoy spending 2 mins a day taking care of their trouble zones.

It's all about body acceptance, not body shaming.

Miles in style: Nike Revolution 2 + Running Playlists

Good morning early birds!

(If you aren't reading this in your morning, then this is awkward...)

Yeah, yeah, yeah, spending ban - I GET IT... don't make me feel bad about getting them! >:( actually my parents bought them as they refunded me the money for some reason? I LOVE YOU MUM AND DAD) Hahaha, just kidding! Aren't they lovely, though? I really needed new trainers and I was actually going to buy the Nike Free Run 5.0 but I honestly did not want to spend 100+ euros on shoes...

These Nike cost (... *drum roll* 36 EUROS. I know!! What a steal! They actually cost 40 but they were selling them a bit cheaper in this new shop - probably becuse it's new? - so I couldn't resist. The colours are wonderful, so bright and girly! And it's actually coral pink and not red so I love it. They are very comfy and I can't wait to start running with them. I used to use my mum's trainers - I KNOW, so bad! - but now I have my own.

(On a side note, I'd like to thank Nike for giving me the title for this post... they replied that to me on Twitter after I sent them their pic. Cool community manager! :-D)

Some of you enjoyed my first post about health and fitness so I want to share with you my favourite playlists for running and workout in general:

There is a way to download those songs however illegal, I assume? The software was called 8hacks and I'm sure it's around the internet. I have those playlists on my iPod - or at least, some of the songs - and after my exams I promise to put up a playlist for you to listen and inspire you to run and workout if you're interested.

Again apologies for my lack of posts and response to your comments and on your blogs - I've been quite busy but I will catch up, I promise! I have my last exam on Thursday (midterm exam though *sigh*) and I have some posts coming up soon! Stay tuned!

Are you a runner? Do you like to work out - even just walking everyday a little bit?

ZARA "Femme" Fragance

Hello lovelies!

Apologies - AGAIN - for my lack of posts and response in your blogs. I recently finished my Easter holidays and I have had a small job in which I had to write about where I live for a website and take some pictures. Again, a small job but I got a good compensation and it's going directly to my savings for England!
I have also had exams to do and there's still one to go but I'm positive about that one.

As I said in previous posts, I'm on a sort of spending ban but a week or two ago I got a new fragance since my Equivalenza bottle ran out! I have heard wonders about Zara fragances - cheap and lovely - and I had one in mind to get but when I walked into this Zara I saw this wonderful package and bottle and I tried it and... Mmmm!! Imagine me with heart eyes, imagine how good it smells that my other two friends got it too!

I would describe it as a vanilla scented fragance, although it's not too strong. It reminds me of a fragance a high-street brand would have. I think it's a sophisticated smell - if that makes sense - and I love using it whether I'm going to uni or I'm going out for dinner with my friends!

In my opinion, for 50ml, 7,95€ was a bargain and so worth it!

Have you ever bought any Zara fragances? Would you buy one?
