5 tips to cope with exams

Hello everybody!

Firstly - THANKS for all the lovely comments on the template I uploaded for you guys, it makes me happy people like it and download it. Again, if you have any troubles, please contact me.
Secondly - I made a template for me although I'm going to change it for sure, I'm digging the way it looks but I will probably play around it a little.

Now... I haven't posted in a little while because I'm studying for my finals. If you've finished - I hate envy you a lot. Like a big lot. I start mines in a week but I have been studying for a week now for my last exam because it's the one I'm most worried about.

So I figured some of you may be doing with exams too and I decided to put up a list of 5 tips to cope with exams that have worked for me and that can lead you to success!

  1. BE ORGANISED. Seriously. Just be organised. Make a calendar, organise your week, even if it's just to read about a subject about 20-40 mins.
  2. BE FOCUSED. That seems obvious but put away any possible distractions. What helps you get focused? Music helps me, I hate silence so I put my headphones on and good music.
  3. QUALITY, NOT QUANTITY. It's not about the amount of hours you study, but how you use time. I'm not the kind of girl that can stay 5 hours studying the same subject in one day. I need to take breaks. I'd rather make sure I study everything in less time so I can study more things than focusing for 5 hours in one subject.
  4. TAKE A BREAK. Seriously. I had a teacher that always recommended us to take a break between studying time that has some relation with the time studied. For example: if you have studied for 2 hours straight, take a 30 min break. Chill, check messages, whatever you'd like. It's also good to take walks or even go watch a movie if you feel too stressed!
  5. DO YOUR BEST. If you do your best, and still fail, it's not your fault. You've studied as hard as you could and you did the exam as good as you could. Sounds dumb but everytime I've failed an exam I ask myself "have I done my best?" if the answer is yes and I still failed, maybe I should think of what can I change to be better or maybe the exam was too hard! If the answer is no, then you should definitely do something about it!

Good luck on exams and I'm sorry about the lack of posts!
