What to expect from Butterball

Aloha everyone!

As you may or may not know, I recently bought a LUSH bath bomb called Butterball and I'd like to review it as I've finally used it.

In case you don't know about LUSH, they're a beauty brand that provides you products which are vegan, friendly with the environment and they are never ever tested with animals. Their products are well known for being natural and lasting quite a lot, so even if you find them expensive, they're so worth it.

What Lush says about Butterball:
"If you have dry, sensitive or irritated skin, this is the bath bomb to replenish it. Once the cocoa butter pieces have melted, your skin will be coated by a light buttery film that smells good enough to eat. Ylang ylang is used in aromatherapy to treat stress and depression, as well as relaxing the nervous system, and relieves anger, panic and fear."
I chose this bath bomb mainly because of its intoxicating smell but it happens to help my skin a lot. I have very dry skin sometimes, very sensitive as well and I have it slightly irritated after I got sunburnt some days ago. I cut the bathbomb in two with a knife and it just halved perfectly so I used it once after my exam and once after my sunburnt/summer party I attended on Friday.

I felt the light buttery film and I loved it. You feel so relaxed once you slide into the bathtub. I breathed in and out and closed my eyes and let the cocoa butter pieces sink in my skin through the warm water.

Some people don't halve their bath bombs, some do, it all depends on your bathtub and how much you think you need. Half of it works just fine for me! This one doesn't make bubbles either, so I don't know half of it is great. I think the whole thing would make the water way too oily and my bathtub is a standard size!

Butterball costs 3,95€ and I think it's definitely worth it. I really want to buy it again because I love how my skin feels afterwards. It smells wonderfully and it feels so, so soft.

 Do I recommend it?
 Will I buy it again?
