The Bargain Haul

Excuse my lack of posts - again - recently but I've been slightly busy - again. As you may know, I'm soon moving to England and that requires an awful load of papers to fill and things to prepare. I finally got my one way tickets - for now as I will come back for Christmas - and blah blah blah... the sooner it gets, the more Erasmus preparations related posts will be.

This brings me to the fact that I told myself I would be on a spending ban. Well, that hasn't happened. I do really need to save money for my new laptop but I went out and I ended up spending on things I actually needed and... surprise, surprise: THEY WERE BARGAINS (specially considering the fact that the sales are over)

Now you may be wondering: "But Cristina, did you actually need those items?" YES. And I'll tell you why!

This is a massive tote bag I bought from Tiger. 2 totebags for 1 euro. I MEAN - how can you resist that? I need one though for those times in which I honestly don't want to wear a bag but, thinking ahead, I thought these would be amazing laundry bags when I go to Sheffield. They're simple and quite big too! I got one for my mother though!
The design is cute and it's just the countries in which you can find Tiger shops so yes, I just found it was quite nice.

Why is it a bargain? Because of the price and because tote bags are always useful.

I walked into H&M and I saw this. BAM. I was looking for a BB Cream and this was... 2€. It usually costs 7,95€ but no no, 2€. I bought it just because I wanted to try it and I've only tried it once and it does look great. These days Mallorca has been hell - literally, it's been TOO hot - and wherever I go, if I'm wearing my foundation, it starts to sort of melt. It's horrible. So I wore it yesterday to run some errands and I was quite happy with the result. I will keep testing it before my future review.

Why is it a bargain? From almost 8€ to 2€ and so far the quality is great. Also, SPF15!

Also in H&M, around where the BB Cream bargain was I found this wonder. A beautiful night bag, pretty big and deep to fit even a small travel make up bag. Its old price was 19,95€ and I bought it for the incredibly and surprisingly price of... 5€.
It's quite big, the pictures don't make any justice to this bag. I just couldn't help it. I'm going to a wedding in September before I move and this will look pretty nice with my dress and the next bargain item...

Why is it a bargain: No explanation needed.

And these, ladies and gentlemen, are the sandals I will be wearing when I change shoes in the wedding. I bought them at Marypaz, where you can find quality and tiny prices. And I'm serious - I'm talking about real quality here. With gorgeous leather and black velvet - I'm not too keen on buying sandals with velvet on it but this was love at first sight - these were an ABSOLUTE bargain.

I saw them a week ago, they had gone from 29,99€ to 17,99€ which was, in my opinion, already a reasonable price. However, when I walked into the shop just to glance at them because they're tremendously beautiful... they were 14,99€ - half of the actual price.

These will look AMAZING on any look. Are you going to a dinner with friends? Date your special one? First date and you'd like to impress? Family dinner? Party night? Seriously! They're just amazing! I tried them on with normal skinny jeans and they look great! I can't wait to wear them soon. They have small heels with the golden mirror border and they're just sooooooo pretty, I can't believe they're mine for that price. I feel lucky.

Why is it a bargain?: !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And these were the things I bought. As you can see, they're actually quite useful and I'm going to use them a lot!

  5. Smart Crissy. I should've come up with the tote laundry bag idea two years ago... Would have saved me some embarrassing trips across campus with my see-through laundry basket, haha.
That night bag looks lovely. *.*
