JANUARY IN GRAPHICS

I wanted to show you guys how amazing January has been so far. I decided to make an infographic because I thought it would be a fun and innovative thing to do with the highlights of this month. In this case, I wanted to tell you about the places I've been.

1. ANTWERP, BELGIUM

I visited Antwerp with some friends to see another friend. We stayed at her house with her lovely family and had a great time. Truth be told, I did not expect Antwerp to be such a gorgeous city! (Please consider trying their fries, oh my!)

2. BRUSSELS, BELGIUM

During New Years, I went to Brussels. Slightly less hangover than my friends but just as tired, I visited the capital. Everyone said Bruges was better and that Brussels wasn't that exciting but I honestly loved it. The Grand Plasse was of the most wonderful things I have ever seen. Every hour o'clock  they put live music and all the buildings lit up. It was so exciting, I had goosebumps all the time.

3. AMSTERDAM, THE NETHERLANDS

I had NEVER imagined Amsterdam would be as busy as it was that day. It was crazy, AND HUGE! I understand why people go on bikes so much around there, it's definitely more comfortable than walking... and no, I did not get on a bike. Two days before my trip to Amsterdam (on New Years Eve)... I LEARNT HOW TO RIDE A BIKE! So I wasn't an expert and I definitely need more practice. Yes, I know, how embarrasing is it that I've just learnt how to ride a bike? Well, IT HAPPENED.
Nevertheless, Amsterdam was beautiful but we did not have enough time to see everything!

4. MAJORCA, SPAIN

Does it even count? Anyway, I spent some days with my family before I went back to the UK. It was lovely seeing them some days as I barely spent two weeks with them in total! How crazy! And of course, pre-celebrated my birthday with some of the best people in the whole planet. <3

5. SHEFFIELD, UK

Finally in Sheffield for a few days before embarking ourselves in a new adventure. I love Sheffield, I really do, It's small and friendly! I only hate it when it's like 6 o'clock and everyone is going home and the shops are closing. It's definitely shocking!

PS. I barely get snow where I live in Spain so... yeah, snow is exciting no matter what!

6. TIPPERARY, REPUBLIC OF IRELAND

Just four days after I arrived to the UK, I caught a flight to the Republic of Ireland and stayed with my roommate's Irish family in Tipperary. Everyone there was so sweet and we even got so much snow. Tipperary is small but nice and the countryside around it is just wonderful.

7. GALWAY, REPUBLIC OF IRELAND

Although the weather in Galway was absolutely awful, I loved that city. It was so nice to walk around - even if it rained and hailed at the same time - and discover the city centre. I was offered to study a semester abroad in Galway as well as Sheffield and it was my second choice, but still after visiting Galway... I wouldn't change Sheffield!

8. DUBLIN, REPUBLIC OF IRELAND

Finally, the capital! It was one of the most gorgeous days and we literally did everything (and I had the best lasagna I've ever had in a long time there!) Of course we saw the Guinness Warehouse and visited the Temple Bar... and I wish I had stayed more there! A day in Dublin is not enough.

9. GLASGOW, UK

After visiting Edinburgh back in November, I thought it was necessary that I visited Glasgow too so I took a flight from Dublin to Glasgow without sleeping at all. I fell asleep on the plane after I luckily got to seat in the exit seats and I had so much space to stretch my legs. Glasgow was snowy when I visited it and I spent such a nice weekend there!

Aaaand that's it. In two days I will be going to Brighton as my first and maybe last trip around the UK as I'm coming back to Spain very soon, however I must say it's been a pretty experience while it lasted!

How was your January?!
