MAKEUP REVOLUTION HAUL

Hello everybody!

I know, I know. I keep saying I'm sorry and promising I'll be back with posts and then disappear for a month. I've got a good excuse now: EXAMS! However I'm finally done with them so I can be back here to be back in business!
This summer will be quite busy for me as I'm going to work in the mornings and I'll probably be dead in the mornings but I will honestly do my best to write at least three posts weekly and try to keep up with yours too as I think I've been the WORST blog-reader ever. My apologies, I promise I will catch up with your blogs.

Yesterday, I went on a stroll with my best friend to catch up and we walked into this beauty store to find out they have Makeup Revolution! Yay! I'm so happy they're slowly taking over Spain and I actually have money to spend. I'm pretty sure that by now you know this brand and I have featured them here in the past.

Without any further ado....

MAKEUP REVOLUTION SALVATION PALETTE "HARD DAY" - 7,99€
I was actually going to buy Flawless but somehow I saw this one and it caught my attention even more. Its colours are darker, perfect for smokey eyes. I would use this palette for a night make up rather than a day make up. Its got 12 shimmery colours and 6 matte ones. This is third palette from them and I can't recommend it enough. I don't want to spoil more because I'm planning to do a make up look tutorial with it and a full review. So far, I love it.

MAKEUP REVOLUTION FOUNDATION "THE MATTE EFFECT" in Cool Ivory - 2,90€
Who can actually resist to that price? I wasn't particularly looking for a foundation, but I thought I would give it ago taking into account it's just 2,90€! I swatched it on my arm and felt perfect, hopefully it will look as good. Its formula is quite light and doesn't feel oily - could this be the perfect foundation for a hot summer?!

MAKEUP REVOLUTION VAMP LIPSTICK IN "REBEL WITH CAUSE" - 1,50€
DUPE ALERT!!!!
I think we can rave about a MAC LIPSTICK DUPE!  I bought it because I thought it looked great without even realising that 1) the colour is VERY SIMILAR to the MAC lipstick in REBEL I already own and 2) the name already hints a dupe??? Again - I'm definitely thinking of writing a post on this possible dupe.

REAL TECHNIQUES SHADING & SETTING BRUSH - 6,99€ each* (present from the bff)
My best friend decided to spoil me (as if I weren't already spoiled!!!) with two Real Techniques brushes that I wanted: the shading and setting brushes. I haven't tried them but they feel quite fluffy and easy to use. I'm very excited to know whether they're as good as they seem! (I only own dupes from them)

I'm so excited to try all these new goodies! You'll hear back from me soon, (this time for realsies...)

Do you own any of these products? Are the RT brushes worth the hype?!

  1. Rebel With A Cause is pretty much 100% the same shade as Rebel, the formula isn't as nice as MAC's but for the price difference, it's amazing!
Looks like a great haul :)

  2. I reaaaally want to try out some of the makeup revolution products because everyone has been raving about them recently!! The shadow palette looks like it holds my ideal shadows, lipstick looks such a pretty colour but unfortunately the matte foundation wouldn't work well with my dry skin :( Let me know how you get on with it though considering the extreme inexpense!! Love your blog and thanks for sharing <3

Hello, thank you for taking your time to comment! I read them all and I usually reply! (Unless I forget, but I do read them!!!)

However, please don't do follow for follow - I will most likely follow you if I like your blog and everything about it but don't ask for a follow for follow! Thank you!

PS. Leave your links though, I love reading new blogs! xx
