Pamper evening essentials

Pamper evenings have become a weekly ritual for me. I choose a random night of the week to just take time to myself and I follow very simple steps to it. Why do I pamper? Because I have either had a bad day or a really good day. Or just because I'm bored. Either way, I follow a specific ritual everytime and I invite you all to take part of it!

I start with a bubble bath. Usually, all my bath bombs are from Lush. The ones that I have now were a present from my closest friends (a big box with plenty of them) and I don't use them entirely but halve them! Of course, all my bath products are Lush products. I like to exfoliate during my pamper routine so I either choose Rub Rub Rub for a gentle exfoliating gel or Ocean Salt! I find the latter rather harsh on my skin compared to Rub Rub Rub, but then I use Ro's Argan and everything is back to normal. My skin soothes and relaxes with this body conditioner. It's so helpful for troubled zones such as scars or stretch marks.

During my bath, I'm usually listening to music. I have my iPad around with any of my Spotify playlists on and I'm just chilling. Sometimes I read, but I'd rather read after my bath. Basically I just play with the bubbles... yep.

After my bath I put on my favourite and coziest pjs. In Winter, this is amazing. In Summer, I'm fresh for an hour and then I'm dead because I'm melting. Damn you, 30 degrees. The next step for me is to use one of Lush masks. I usually have the fresh masks they make, but right now I'm using my Mask of Magnamity which is amazing, if you ask me. I'm in love. My hair is usually in a towel during this process. I swear this post is not sponsored by Lush, I just simply adore them.

I choose my nail polish of choice for the next step and I paint them while my mask is still on my face. I'm choosing this Kiko Power Pro Nail Lacquer in this absolutely gorgeous red shade (#13) Its got gel effect and I love it because it lasts a lot. And then I add the top coat once they're dry!

When I have cleaned my face with my mask, I finish my skincare routine with my Tea Tree Water by Lush. I love how fresh my skin feels after I use this! It has helped me a lot with my blemishes and other random spots and rednesses. I'm still listening to music in this process and now I'm chilling in bed, probably off to read some blogs or play some Sims 4!

What are your pamper evening routine & essentials?

    1. It really is! Just a bit harsh on your skin if you have it sensitive like mine, but pretty worth it anyway. xxx

  2. Ahhh. Next week I'm moving to an area that actually has a Lush and I can already see myself dropping loads of money there. I can't wait!
